Brasil! Brasil! Exhibit, Royal Academy of Art Exhibition Intro

Join us on Friday 28 February 2025, as we dive into the vibrant world of Brazilian art at the Royal Academy’s "Brasil! Brasil! The Birth of Modernism" exhibit.

This major exhibition, organised in collaboration with the Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern (Switzerland) features over 130 captivating works by pioneering 20th-century Brazilian artists. It highlights the fascinating connections between European modernism and the rich cultures, identities, and landscapes that shaped a bold, uniquely Brazilian artistic movement.

The plan: Meet us at 18.15 in front of the Royal Academy (Burlington House, Piccadilly) so we can head in at 18.30. NSH Committee members Kerry-Jane and Leonore will give you an introduction to the exhibition. After the tour, we will keep the conversation going with drinks and a bite to eat at a nearby spot! (optional)

Cost: £20 for NSH members and £25 otherwise
