Apply to stand as a candidate to be elected as a UK Delegate to the Council of the Swiss Abroad (CSA) 2025 - 2029 term.

This is the online form to submit your candidacy to stand in the 2025 Delegate Elections. Fields marked with a * are mandatory to fill out to ensure consistency and fairness between candidates. For any enquiries prior to submission, please contact president@swiss-societies.co.uk. Confirmation of receipt of your application will be sent to the email address you input below.

*To be a valid candidate you need to be registered at the Swiss Embassy of the United Kingdom. Please attach a copy of your registration. You can order for a confirmation of your registration and nationality via the Online desk for Swiss nationals residing abroad (admin.ch).

If you are unable to submit this form online, please complete the profile document and either email it along with your photo and evidence of registration to president@swiss-societies.co.uk or post to: FOSSUK / OSA Elections, 317 West Block, Forum Magnum Square, SE1 7GL London.

Acknowledgement of receipt of submissions via email or post will be to the email address / phone number you provided on the profile form.

Deadlines: Your filled-out candidate profile must be submitted no later than midnight on Saturday, the 15^th February 2025. You should encourage (campaign) for Swiss living in United Kingdom to vote for you – this is a United Kingdom election. You can decide to use your vote for yourself.

Eligible voters in the United Kingdom need to be registered with the local representation before Friday, 31^st January 2025. Eligible voters will be sent an email with instructions on how to vote online by the FDFA (Federal Department of Foreign Affairs) when the voting polls open on Friday, 11^th April 2025.

Should your application to stand as a Delegate in these elections be successful, your photo, summary and full profile information may be published online on relevant election websites, social media channels and the Swiss Review. In a second stage, you might be requested to submit a short video for the purpose of your candidacy that might be used during the election period for your promotion to the Swiss in the United Kingdom.

We take information privacy seriously and will not share or publicise your personal contact detail with other organisations or individuals outside of the election committee and our partners at the Organisation of the Swiss Abroad (OSA), the Bernese University of Applied Science (BHF, supplier of the voting tool) and the FDFA (Federal Department of Foreign Affaires) where necessary to communicate information regarding this election.
