FEDERAL ELECTIONS 2023


INFORMATION

The National Council elections and the first round of elections for the Council of States will take place on 22 October 2023.

All 214,000 Swiss Abroad who are registered on an electoral roll may elect their National Councillors, and also their members for the Council of States in some cantons.

Important: Swiss Abroad who are not registered on the voting and electoral roll must complete the following registration form to be able to participate in elections and voting in Switzerland: Application to exercise political rights

They must submit the completed form to the Swiss embassy or consulate with which they are registered.
