British Swiss Chamber of Commerce

INFORMATION

The BSCC is delighted to invite you to the 8th Moving Art event which will be hosted by Simons Muirhead Burton (SMB) - a firm committed to fostering dialogue at the intersection of creativity, culture and global impact.

Introduced by Steven Heffer, Media and Arts Consultant, SMB, this year's keynote speech will be delivered by Sarah Philip, Deputy Director, Delfina Foundation.

Sarah’s keynote will explore the work of the Delfina Foundation, with a focus on soft power – the ability to influence through culture and values – and the evolving role of international art philanthropy in shaping cross-border understanding and cultural diplomacy.

Post the formal speech the speakers will take part in a panel discussion moderated by Alys Williams, Art and Development Consultant & Board Trustee, FORMA,  reflecting on issues raised in Sarah’s speech and adding their own insights and experience of soft power.  A Q&A session is scheduled and all in attendance are encouraged to take part.
