Late May, we enjoyed a delightful walk in Hyde Park, where members connected and shared stories amidst the beautiful spring scenery. We stopped by the Serpentine Gallery to tour the Judy Chicago exhibition. Our Swiss-themed pub crawl in Soho early June was a huge success, bringing together both our younger members and long-time enthusiasts for an evening of lively conversation and networking.

June was otherwise very much football-centric, no surprises there. Nati performed exceptionally well and we are all on cloud 9! Fantastic turnout to both games against Scotland and Italy, 60+ each time! Big thank you to the Greenwood Victoria team for taking such good care of us. For the highly anticipated quarter-finals game against England tomorrow, we will head to their sister venue – Broadleaf, near Liverpool Street Station. This event is now fully booked. Since we are playing England, London pubs are full to the brim and unfortunately we cannot increase our booking beyond the 60 Nati fans who will be cheering on Switzerland. However, the venue is selling extra tickets which cost £30 and include 3 bottles of Birra Moretti, see here for more info (click the "book" button, top right corner of the page).

Since we are all about patriotism at the moment, why not come along to celebrate Swiss National Day on Thursday 1 August 2024 at the Swiss Church in Soho. Expect an evening of Swiss culture, dearly loved national food, music, local goodies to purchase and a great Swiss-themed raffle. With many of us travelling over the summer, we will host a few informal social gatherings to stay connected. We are also planning a great selection of events for the autumn. Don't miss out on these – check out the events programme below!

Your support is crucial in helping us grow and invigorate our club, fostering inter-generational friendships and a deeper engagement with Swiss culture.
